Guest House

The University Campus has a Guest House located near the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor’s Residence. It has a total of 39 rooms of different types, a meeting room and a kitchen and a dining hall for the guests visiting the University.

The Guest House is primarily meant for official guests of the University/participants of academic and research programs such as Seminars/Workshops/Conferences/Training Programs organized by the University/Centres/Departments as well as those sponsored by UGC/DST/ICSSR and other government institutes, those coming for administrative works of the university and any other person with the permission of the competent authority. Students are not allowed to stay in the guest house. All bookings shall be recommended by concerned HODs/Deans/Coordinators /Directors and Coordinators of Centres/Heads of Administrative Units/Officers such as Nodal Officers.

Guest house accommodation can be considered for the parents of students of Central University of Karnataka subject to recommendation by the Head of the concerned department and further approval of the competent authorities.

Accommodation in the guest house is subject to approval by the competent authorities and on production of valid government issued photo-identity cards.

Guests have to seek confirmation of room booking at least 2 days in advance of their arrival.

CUK reserves the right to deny accommodation without assigning any reason. Also, those residing at guest house may be asked to vacate the rooms in case of any emergency /situation /need to accommodate VIPs such as during convocation/Executive Council or Academic Counsel meeting etc. In this case, already residing guests may be given advance information.

Check-out time is 24 hours from the time of occupying the room.

(Students needing accommodation for their parents have to first write an email to the concerned Head of the Department (HoD) and in turn, the HoD has to recommend and send the email to; guesthouse@cuk.ac.in. Emails written by students directly to the guest house email ID will not be considered)
